Ogunquit’s sandy beaches stretch over three miles providing vacationers a place to play, watch the birds, enjoy the invigorating surf, or the chance to sun or swim on this stretch of gorgeous beach. While in town, don’t miss the walk along the breathtaking Marginal Way. This scenic footpath is a mile-long walk along the rocky shore, starting just a short distance from our driveway at Sea Chambers and ending in historic Perkins Cove. Explore the ever-changing sea-life found in teaming tidal pools, or just sit and relax on one of the many memorial benches along “the Way”. From Sea Chamber’s driveway, walk left beyond The Sparhawk Motel and keep your eyes open for a sign saying “Entrance to the Marginal Way.”

While in town, don’t miss one of the jewels of the area, John Lane’s Ogunquit Summer Theatre. Opened in the summer of 1933, the wonderful summer theatre offers performances from the end of June through Labor Day. Evening performances are held Monday through Friday at 8 PM and Saturday at 8:30 PM. Matinees are held Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2:30.
